McAMS Yamaha are ready to take the fight to Donington Park this weekend as Round 2 of the 2026 British Superbike and Quattro Group British Supersport Championships gets underway at one of the most historic circuits on the calendar.
With three podium finishes from last time out at Oulton Park, championship contender Brad Ray arrives hungry for more, targeting a first victory of his 2026 campaign and looking to leave with a healthy points haul from the trio of races.
Ray and the team completed a productive test at the circuit ahead of the season opener earlier this month, laying solid groundwork for a strong race weekend.
With proven pedigree around the 2.49-mile venue, including a triple victory last season, the 28-year-old carries high ambitions into the weekend as he looks to build on an encouraging start to his 2026 campaign.
In the Quattro Group British Supersport Championship, Yamaha R9 duo Ben Currie and Harry Truelove are primed for another two-race assault at the Leicestershire venue.
Currie gave the Yamaha R9 plenty to shout about at Oulton Park, delivering two podium finishes on the bike’s competitive debut and signalling the team’s intent to run at the sharp end of the field once again.
The Australian returns to track in confident mood, aiming to build on that momentum and further strengthen his 2026 championship challenge.
Lincolnshire’s Truelove is equally eager to impress after a resilient ride in Race 2 at Oulton Park last time out, riding from 18th to 8th after a crash in Race 1 hindered his chances of bagging a strong grid position for Sunday’s charge – a performance that underlined his raw pace and fighting spirit.
It promises to be a pivotal weekend across all corners of the garage this weekend, and the officially backed outfit head to the Midlands feeling better prepared than ever to deliver across the board.
