Bradley Ray

Like so many racers of his generation, Brad Ray’s journey to the top level of British motorsport began on the smallest of machines. Cutting his teeth in mini motos before stepping up to the British 125 Championship, Ray then spent three formative seasons competing in the prestigious Red Bull Rookies Cup between 2012 and 2014 – a programme that has long served as a launchpad for some of the sport’s brightest talents.

By 2017, he had made the step into the British Superbike Championship, and it didn’t take long for his potential to translate into results, with his first BSB victories following in 2018.

Ray’s breakthrough came in 2022, when he claimed the British Superbike Championship title, cementing his status as one of the standout talents in the series, achieving an impressive 9 victories, 23 podiums, and 19 pole positions.

That championship-winning campaign showcased his ability to combine race-winning pace with consistency across a full season, a quality that has since become a defining feature of his career.

Following his domestic success, Ray stepped onto the global stage, spending two seasons in the World Superbike Championship in 2023 and 2024. Competing against the world’s best riders and teams, he gained invaluable experience, developing his technical understanding and adaptability across a wide range of circuits and conditions, achieving a career-best race result of fourth.

Returning to British competition, Ray enjoyed a highly successful campaign last season, finishing runner-up in the championship with the team’s former title of Raceways Yamaha, the former title sponsor and team owners of McAMS Yamaha.

That season reaffirmed his front-running credentials and underlined his ability to contend for championships aboard Yamaha machinery. In 2025, Ray accumulated 12 race victories and 22 podium finishes – amassing 502 championship points to finish as series runner-up.

Now reunited with the McAMS Yamaha structure for 2026, Ray brings with him a championship-winning mindset and a track record of delivering consistent results. With multiple seasons of elite-level competition behind him, he enters 2026 firmly focused on returning to the top step and adding to his list of career achievements.
