Back with a Bang: McAMS Racing Launch 2025 Bennetts BSB Showstopper

Today, McAMS Racing stepped into the spotlight to reveal an updated livery for the 2025 Bennetts British Superbike Championship.

The launch of their 2025 Yamaha R1, set to be ridden by Bennetts BSB race winner, Danny Kent, comes ahead of the first official test of the year at Circuito de Navarra in Spain on 06-07 April.

The 2025 livery design features a notable refresh compared to 2024, with the addition of a distinctive white finish perfectly complementing the preserved and vibrant red and blue colours from last season.

An updated aerodynamic package aboard the Yamaha R1, in the form of all-new front wings, is another notable update for 2025.

With the R1 package continuing to progress, this season will be the first that Yamaha run front wings in the Bennetts BSB series.

Throughout the off-season, the team have also carried out extensive in-house development to the Yamaha R1 package, ensuring their best chances of success in the upcoming year.

After a long winter break, the McAMS-backed outfit are ready and raring to get tucked into a productive period of race-season preparation at the Circuito de Navarra.

2025 marks Mar-Train’s third year in the premier class, and after a debut win at the final round of 2024, they hope to continue from where they left off in a bid to fight at the sharp end of the series.

Returning to familiar territory of the Circuito de Navarra will bring back positive memories for Kent and the team, who rode to two podium finishes at the venue at the start of 2024.

With two days of testing lying ahead, both rider and team are fully-focused on the task at hand and feel motivated to complete a fruitful period of preparation.

Ahead of the long-awaited season opener, the team will also be completing a further two tests at Donington Park and Oulton Park, with the aim of making further steps before hitting the ground running at Round 1 on the first weekend in May.

Danny Kent

Rider

“I love the new look for 2025 and feel excited to get back aboard the Yamaha R1. The team have worked really hard throughout the winter break, and I’ve been working hard on my own preparation too. I’ve had a long time to reflect on 2024 and we know what areas we need to improve on. I can’t wait to get out to Spain to see the team and begin our testing plan.”

Tim Martin

Team Owner

“The team and I are excited to return to the track at Navarra. It’s been a long winter break and we’re all itching to get back to work. We had a strong end to 2024, hopefully we can carry that momentum towards the start of the year and beyond. As I’m sure you’d agree, the 2025 livery is a real stand-out. We can’t wait to see it out on track.”

Valentina Slater

McAMS Ambassador

“We are really happy with how the 2025 McAMS Racing livery has turned out and can’t wait for the season to officially begin. 2024 was a positive year for the team, Danny proved that he is capable at battling consistently at the front and we can’t wait to see him carry that momentum into another season. I’m looking forward to seeing what the team can achieve, starting with two days of testing in Spain throughout the coming days.”

Chris Anderson

Crew Chief

“It’s been a long winter, but the wait is nearly over. We’ve been flat out in the workshop, putting in the hours to build two fresh bikes for testing, and I can’t wait to see them roll down pitlane with Danny onboard. The 2025 Yamaha R1 livery looks absolutely mint, seeing it out on track is going to be a great feeling. We’ve got a solid game plan for the first official test, and the whole team is itching to get stuck in, make progress, and be ready to push when the lights go out at the opening round.”
